Basic Graphite Mechanical Pencil

Go back to basics with this mechanical pencil! There’s nothing fussy or unusual about this Bic 0.7 mm pencil, which is why I love it for making pencil drafts on light-colored papers. Here’s what you need to know:

• Pencil features 0.7 mm lead – This lead is dark enough to make vivid drafts, but soft enough that it won’t make indentations in your page (be sure to use fairly light pressure!)
• Pencil comes pre-loaded with 3 pieces of lead – You can buy lead refills at your local office supply store
• Lead size is compatible with Nico Ng’s Lettering Composition Rulers and Grid Rulers
• Pencil features an eraser on the back – for the ultimate smooth erasing experience, I recommend pairing this with a Staedtler Mars eraser
