Beginner Modern Calligraphy Workshop | Saturday, July 18th, 1:30-4:30 PM

Supplies Provided

I will provide you with all necessary supplies at this workshop. They are yours to keep, and they include:

• Nikko G Nib
• Brause EF66 Nib
• Straight calligraphy pen with universal insert
• Oblique calligraphy pen fitted for Nikko G nib
• Oblique calligraphy pen fitted for Brause EF66 nib – This is new to TPK beginner workshops. I lovingly hand-make every flange!
• 2 oz. of sumi ink + jar for ink
• Workshop-exclusive worksheet set
• Homework worksheet

Location

This workshop will take place from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at The Riverside (1724 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302). Please plan on arriving a bit early so you can get situated before the workshop! I recommend parking at the Boulder Public Library, which is one block away.

Refund Policy

Please sign up for the workshop only if you’re sure you can attend! I understand, however, that things come up. If you need to cancel, you will receive a refund, but there will be a $25.00 restocking fee. Within four weeks of the workshop, I am unable to issue refunds.

Intermediate Workshop

If you’re up for a challenge, I invite you to take the Intermediate Workshop at The Riverside the next day (Sunday, July 19th)! We’ll build on the skills you learned in the beginner workshop by honing in on how to write specific alphabets, flourishing, writing in gold, calligraphing the perfect envelope, and writing with watercolors, among other things.
