People love Amy Style calligraphy because of its wonderful legibility and the interplay between straight lines and playful loops! The Amy is a no-slant style that is wonderful for wedding invitations, artwork, and general calligraphy writing endeavors. To begin, you’ll need a straight calligraphy dip pen, a Nikko G nib (for beginners) or Brause EF66 nib (for intermediate), sumi or India ink, and a printer and paper. I highly recommend printing TPK calligraphy worksheets out on 32# laserjet paper (you can use laserjet paper in any printer). It will be easiest to fill out this worksheet if you have taken the Beginner’s Modern Calligraphy Online Course, though many learners have worked through the worksheet without doing so.

The Amy Style calligraphy worksheet set underwent a complete redesign in June 2018, and it features the following:

As a beginner, I was a little scared before starting doing calligraphy. Everything looked so simple and effortlessly. I was looking for a place to start from and I am grateful that I found your blog, Lindsey. Amy Style is exactly what you need to learn as a beginner. It is really simple, once you start!
    Thank you, Lindsey!!

I purchased this set of worksheets after I had so much fun with the Janet style premium calligraphy worksheets! I absolutely love this whimsical vertical style. Very fun and flirty!! I am going to start practicing on envelopes maybe tonight and pull out my Envelopes for a Latte!

This is an incredible beginners style of calligraphy. You can master a dip pen with this font and focus on creating straight parallel lines. Lindsey does a great job breaking down the letters and providing ample opportunities to practice individual letters and how the letters connect within words. If you are new to calligraphy, this should be your go to resource!

I have tried for years to write calligraphy with little success until I finally stumbled upon TPK. Based on the reviews and description, I thought this would be the best starter set. I couldn’t believe how quickly I learned how to write in a beautiful calligraphy – and was able to quickly use it for place-cards for my engagement party (and eventually lots of other projects!). I’ve tried all of her styles now and think Janet is probably the prettiest, but I find myself coming back to Amy again and again because I love that you don’t need to worry about slant. If you are a noob like I was, this is the best place to start!

I have learned SO much from this course and the other materials that Lindsey has to offer. She walks you through every step in a clear, concise way- and they’re beautiful to look at! The Postman’s Knock is one of the best resources I have found to learn the basics of calligraphy and beyond. Very highly recommend any of her materials if you are interested in learning calligraphy! Thank you!!

This worksheet set will always be special to me because it was my introduction to calligraphy. I used the set initially with a Tombow Fude Brush Pen, Fudenosuke and was able to really get comfortable with the pressure involved with a thin upstroke/ thicker downstroke. I was so happy with the improvement I saw from the first set I did through the fourth set. I kinda got obsessed with practicing. This set was the proof that this wasn’t a passing fascination and it led to me taking a workshop in my city and to actually now doing calligraphy with an oblique pen. I’m about to print this set again with #32 laserjet paper and do it with with ink and my fav Gilotte 404 nib. Thanks for making this!

I was introduced to Calligraphy as an bonus lesson in an online mixed media class…..and fell in love with it😊. I was practicing quite a bit but felt like I needed guided worksheets, and these are PERFECT for me. Having the choice of just worksheets was perfect for me since I already had a great introduction. When I saw the AMY Style I knew I would love it. Thank You so much💖!!!! I highly recommend these worksheets!!
