Description

You can download a free sample of seven pages from this worksheet set by clicking here.

Kaitlin Style calligraphy has a casual elegance to it because of its artistic, bohemian whimsy. The best part? No need to draw out pencil guidelines! You can free-hand the Kaitlin for use on any envelope or project without worrying about making guides. To begin, you’ll need a straight dip pen or an oblique dip pen (whichever you prefer), a Nikko G nib (for beginners) or a Brause EF66 nib (for intermediate), sumi or India ink, and a printer and paper. I highly recommend printing TPK calligraphy worksheets out on 32# laserjet paper (you can use laserjet paper in any printer). It will be easiest to fill out this worksheet if you have taken the Beginner’s Modern Calligraphy Online Course, though many learners have worked through the worksheet without doing so.

I’ve taken Sean Wes’ master hand lettering class and this is right up there with it! What a great value too. I’ve purchased Lindsay’s Beth style, Hand Lettering for a Latte and Kaitlin set along with all the bonus sets you can get from THE POSTMAN’S KNOCK. If you want to learn calligraphy and hand lettering this is the place to go.

I love the worksheets and am constantly printing more practice sheets.
What great work Lindsay does! Keep the styles coming. So grateful for your clean and easy to use website too.

Just purchased this and I simply can’t wait to print them out and start writing! I super love these worksheets. 🙂

This was the most helpful resource for me when I began my journey into calligraphy. The Kaitlyn worksheets, as well as the numerous blog posts on The Postman’s Knock, were exactly what I needed to dive into this beautiful art. These are worth way more than their price, and you will notice that as soon as you begin! I am so happy that I purchased these worksheets. I can’t wait to try out more styles! Thank you Lindsay!!

This is simple one of the best calligraphy worksheets I have ever used! The instructions are incredibly easy to follow and the practice worksheets are awesome. I have also purchased the accompanying video course and I am excited to have a visual reference as I work through this set. On a side note, I am astounded by the vast amount of information that Lindsey provides for FREE. Her blog is a constant source of inspiration and continues to spur me on to continue my calligraphy practice. Calligraphy is a fun and relaxing way to express yourself creatively and with Lindsey’s guided worksheets I am already seeing beautiful results. Give this set a try, you will not be disappointed!

So easy to understand and follow! Great for beginners and anyone who has done calligraphy that wants to improve or add variation.

I wasn’t too sure if the laid-back style of Kaitlin would suit me – I’m naturally a perfectionist, and the way the letters dip below the line had the potential to drive me crazy! But, for the price of a latte, I thought it was worth a try…. and I’m really pleased I bought the worksheets!
The Kaitlin style has a wonderful flow between each letter, and although I’m sure my attempts are way off from Lindsey’s, it still looks good!

There’s a great selection of words to copy, to get the hang of joining up the letters, and as with the other Latte worksheets, you can print them off as many times as you need to, so there’s no excuse to not have another practise!

This is the most amazing tutorial! I’m only halfway through and have practiced only a handful of times, but I’m already addressing envelopes beautifully. Lindsay’s blog is the BEST modern calligraphy resource available, and it is unbelievable how much information she provides for free. These worksheets are a great way to repay her AND are more than worth the $5. I’ve seen several more expensive “learn calligraphy” books and just from flipping through them, I know they aren’t half as informative or user-friendly as Lindsey’s worksheets. I strongly encourage you to also buy the Kaitlyn Style Variations worksheet — it really helped me find a way to use Kaitlyn in a style closer to my natural handwriting, and I cannot wait to address my wedding invitations using my own custom calligraphy!

This is easily the best $5.00 I’ve ever spent on any artistic project. The worksheets were well-made and the whole program was extensive and fun.

This is the best calligraphy worksheet ever! I took online classes several times and stumbled upon this site. I printed out the worksheet on Friday and finished it up by then end of the day. Over the weekend I was addressing envelopes like a pro receiving several compliments on my calligraphy! I will be getting all of them eventually.

So a few weeks ago I purchased this cheap-o calligraphy set and tried playing around with it, but didn’t really know what I was doing, then I stumbled on this blog. I decided to check out this style because it said it was good for beginners and I mean, five bucks, and I’m so glad I did! The worksheets were easy to understand and using the faux calligraphy really helped me to understand not only the style but really calligraphy in general so that when I picked my dip pen back up, I was able to create more than just the kaitlin style. Totally worth passing up my daily coffee.
