Tachikawa T-99 Maru Crowquill Nib
$2.00

Tachikawa’s T-99 Maru nib is a crowquill nib with an extremely fine point. It’s not super flexible, but it will give you stroke variation that’s perfect for delicate and tiny calligraphy.
- Great for drawing (especially crosshatching) or small, detailed calligraphy
- This nib is best for intermediate/advanced calligraphers because it’s so tiny/sharp
- The nib will only fit in holders that can accommodate crowquill nibs, like the Tachikawa T40 pen
- For best results, use this nib with a thin ink such as iron gall or walnut

This might be my new favorite nib! I love how much ink it holds!

I am a beginner in calligraphy, and I bought this nib together with some other nibs, and Sumi Ink. It is funny that everyone recommends using Nikko G nib for beginners, because I happened to start using the Crowquill nib before finding TPK, and I really enjoy using it. Maybe the reason is that I like to write small, and the Crowquill nib was the only one that worked with the ink I had. Lindsey always takes care with packaging and everything arrived in great condition. I was also pleasantly surprised that she send it off the same day!!! Amazing 🙂
