I live in Boulder, Colorado, which is home to the University of Colorado. That’s a blessing when it comes to the TPK Supplies Shop, which employs three part-time college students as packagers. Aiden was my very first packager, and he started working for me two years ago. In all that time, he’s made a total of five packaging mistakes, which is super impressive. He also mastered making Brause EF66 flanges for these pens, which helped me to meet the demand for them.
When I was in second grade or so, my aunt started sending me letters. Those letters made me feel incredibly special! My parents were getting mail all the time, and I felt very grown-up that I also had envelopes arriving for me. Fast forward a couple of decades, and my own niece has just finished the first grade. When she wrote me a letter last week, I was excited to write back and give her that grown-up feeling that I craved at her age.
This morning, I finished an anniversary gift artwork project that I’ve been working on for about a year. I documented my progress over the last few months, and today, I’m sharing those photos and details as a sort of tutorial for you! I hope that you enjoy reading about this gift, which I believe is an awesome concept for all kinds of celebratory occasions.
