TPK 2017 Holiday Giveaways | The Postman's Knock

2017 is quickly coming to a close, and I want to wrap it up on a nice note by conducting a few giveaways! Your readership and support makes TPK possible, and I hope that this post shows you how much that I appreciate it. Really: thanks for using the calligraphy worksheets, leaving kind comments on posts, staying in touch on social media, and/or reading my ramblings … it means a lot!

If I could send everyone who reads this blog a thank you card, I would!

Without further ado, let’s get to the giveaways! As with all TPK giveaways, every single one of these items is up for grabs to anyone regardless of country of residence. Under the description of each giveaway item, you’ll see a Rafflecopter widget. Use it to enter the giveaway for each item that catches your eye. You don’t need a social media account to enter; if you aren’t on social media, you can just use the “Answer a Question” option! All of the giveaways below will end Tuesday, January 2nd, at 12:00 AM MST. Winners will receive a congratulatory email from me later that day, and the first names of winners will be displayed in this post on the Rafflecopter widgets!

Finetec Golds Palette | The Postman's Knock
Confused about how these dry pans of watercolor can be used as a calligraphy ink? Check out this blog post!

The Finetec Golds palette will become your go-to whenever you need a brilliant gold hue! It’s a versatile watercolor that can be used for painting, drawing, or calligraphy. If you’re curious about how to use it for calligraphy, you can learn the process in this blog post.

    3. Set of 4 Dr. Ph. Martin’s Iridescent Inks (Two Winners)

Like the Finetec palette, Dr. Ph. Martin’s Iridescent Inks are irresistibly brilliant. Give them a good shake, dip your nib in, and you can make some breathtaking projects!

The winners of this giveaway will get to pick the four colors that they receive.

Iridescent Inks come in a variety of colors, so the winners of this giveaway will get to choose which four they prefer! Black Sparkle and Copperplate Gold are favorites of mine because of their opacity and the way they catch the light.

This Kaitlin Style envelope features the following Iridescent colors: Copperplate Gold, Black Sparkle, and Crystal Mint.

The original glass containers that Iridescent inks arrive in are not dip pen-friendly, unfortunately. As a result, in addition to the four inks, the winners of this giveaway will receive four containers to transfer ink into! You may enter to win one of the two sets of four Iridescent Inks in the Rafflecopter widget below:

    4. Pen and Nib Set (Two Winners)

Calligraphy Pens + Nibs | The Postman's Knock
Both of these pens are high-quality and comfortable to grip.

You can never have too many pens and nibs! This giveaway offers up a set that includes the following:

    • One Tachikawa T40 Straight Holder (you can read about it in this blog post)
    • One Hand-Turned Oblique Holder (you can read about it in this blog post)
    • A set of the following nibs: 2 Nikko Gs, 2 Brause EF66s, 2 Brause Roses, 2 Leonardt Principals
    • One Leonardt Nib Tin
This simple Amy Style envelope was created using a Tachikawa T40 pen holder fitted with a Brause EF66 nib.

I know you’ll love this set; I especially like pairing the Tachikawa T40 with the Brause EF66 nib to make Amy Style calligraphy with plenty of stroke contrast (shown above). To enter the giveaway for this nice little collection of pens and nibs, use the Rafflecopter widget below:
