Cursive Handwriting | The Postman's Knock

Your handwriting is a means by which you communicate to the world. Whether it’s through a hand-written thank you message or business meeting notes, you’re bound to use handwriting in everyday life. Dissatisfaction with your handwriting can be very stressful and frustrating! Don’t worry, though: with some practice, patience, and perseverance, you absolutely can develop a handwriting style that you’re proud of.

The goal of this course isn’t to completely change your handwriting. After all, your handwriting correlates to your personality! This course will, however, teach you how to create legible, consistent, and flowing handwriting that accurately represents you.

My advice is to pay careful attention to the videos and the worksheet exercises. Sometime exercises may seem elementary — but don’t skip them! It’s the simple exercises that will pack the biggest punch and help you to see a difference in your control of a pen. The single most important thing is not to get frustrated. If you find yourself feeling down about your progress, call it a day and return to the course tomorrow with a fresh outlook!

Start by downloading the course worksheet, which you can find in “Course Media”, right below this paragraph. For best results, I recommend printing the worksheet out on 32# laserjet paper, but any printer paper should work! Then, settle in with your favorite pen, and get ready to take some notes in Lesson 1.
