Kaitlin Style Calligraphy Video Course
The Kaitlin Style Calligraphy Video Course was developed to supplement and enhance your experience with the Kaitlin Style Premium Worksheet Set. This course will guide you through the worksheet and provide helpful visual aids! In addition to being able to see all of the letters and words written out “in real life”, you’ll glean additional tips that aren’t provided in the worksheet set. I think that you’ll especially find the information about double letters and bounce lettering to be helpful!
Pay careful attention to the videos. Be patient with yourself, take notes, and don’t rush through the course or the worksheet. Remember that calligraphy is a slow, deliberate process, and this style takes a while to learn! The most important thing is not to get frustrated. If you find yourself feeling unenthusiastic, call it a day and return to your practice tomorrow with a fresh outlook.

Lessons
Lesson 1: Faux Calligraphy
Faux calligraphy is a great technique to start with to get you acquainted with any calligraphy style! Creating letters in such a deliberate way helps you to hone in on letter formations. Even if you know how to use a dip pen, you’ll find that you have to use faux calligraphy in certain situations. It looks great on chalkboard and wood surfaces, plus you can use the technique on paper when you don’t have a dip pen handy!
Lesson 2: The Basics of Kaitlin Style Calligraphy
Before you get started with writing Kaitlin Style calligraphy, it’s important to get warmed up. We’ll do this through writing out basic strokes and a few key drills!
Lesson 3: The Alphabet
In this lesson, we’ll focus on how to write nice, clean Kaitlin Style letters. I’ll guide you through filling out the letter practice sections of the worksheet set, and — if you want to — you can watch me write out every Kaitlin Style letter in “real life”.
Lesson 4: Connecting Letters to Write Words
In Lesson 3, you learned how to write out all the Kaitlin Style letters. In this lesson, we’ll go over how to join those letters together to make words!
Lesson 5: Bounce Lettering + Dealing with Double Letters
“Bounce lettering” is the hallmark of Kaitlin Style calligraphy — and, unfortunately, learners find it difficult to master! In this lesson, we’ll cover two of the aspects that people have the most issues with: bounce lettering and double letters.
Lesson 6: Tips + How to Address a Kaitlin Style Envelope
In this lesson, we’ll cover some general tips for creating Kaitlin Style calligraphy. You’ll also learn how to calligraph a quick, whimsical envelope!

When you take into consideration the homework assignments, this lesson will take you a few days to create. Stick with it, and be patient with yourself!
