For those of you who caught my potato stamp blog, you are aware that yesterday I made an adorable potato stamp, which I then used to create a thank you card. And another thank you card. And another thank you card … until I had five. Then I thought, What’s a greeting card without envelopes?
These envelopes are made from the 1964 (?) edition of History of Art by H.W. Janson. The squares of paper for address-writing are from a Minted catalog. Each envelope features lick-to-seal vanilla glue, so they’re all set to go.
I really appreciate everyone who has come to this blog to check out my projects and garner some inspiration; and I’d like to give back in a way besides giving you information. That is, I’d love to give you some thank you cards. These thank you cards, in fact. (But, since I only have five, unfortunately only one person will win them!) Each card is handmade from vintage books and features my lovely potato stamp design. I added pretty, wispy calligraphy to contrast with the heaviness of the “THANKS”.
Here’s how to enter this giveaway: simply subscribe to my blog using the yellow box below. Here’s the hitch — we can only see your email address (to contact you to let you know you’ve won) if you subscribe to receive email updates. If you are subscribed to the RSS feed and do not want to subscribe to email updates, contact me to let me know you’d like to be in the running (or leave a comment below, and be sure and fill out the “email” field). The giveaway ends at midnight (Mountain Time) on March 15, and I will contact the winner via email the afternoon of March 16th for his or her address. May the odds be ever in your favor! Though if they are not … hang tight for another giveaway to take place the second half of March.
