These printable snowman gift tags were created to pretty up your gifting process and build anticipation under the tree. When I was a little girl growing up in rural Kansas, my parents usually bought an honest-to-goodness tree, which made the house smell amazing. I can’t even describe how excited I always was to open the gifts that sat under that tree for the whole month of December.
Now that we spend every Christmas in South America, needless to say I have a little bit of coniferous nostalgia. The fact that my mom has switched to artificial trees {she hated cleaning up the pine needles} helps me to cope. Hernán’s mom and dad have an itty-bitty, 2 foot tall Christmas tree that they put on the floor in the dining room, too. It’s sort of funny to see that little imitation tree with its flecks of “snow” and go to the beach all in the same morning!
All my nostalgic ramblings have led to me creating this little snowman gift tags printable for you. Since I won’t see snow for Christmas, I thought I’d at least paint it! These are standard business card size; 2″ x 3.5″ {5.08 cm x 8.89 cm}. They were created using acrylic paint and India ink. I would recommend printing them off on card stock; professionally, if your printer can’t handle heavy card stock {mine can’t, so I go to the Fed-Ex/Kinkos down the street}. I am using one of these snowman gift tags on the package for our new little niece, Brixlyn. Contained inside is an absolutely adorable onesie from Bits and Pieces Tees on Etsy. It has a guitar sewn onto it in pretty paisley fabric, which is perfect because it’s my brother’s instrument of choice, and something little Brixlyn will grow up around.
