There’s something powerful about laying out your week on paper, where you can organize tasks, ideas, and intentions. Today’s poppies-themed planner page offers a simple, artful way to bring a little structure (and beauty) to your days.
If you like this planner, you can print out several copies and place them in a 3-ring-binder. At the end of the year, it’s fun to flip through your days to see what you accomplished!
Every year, I release some sort of productivity printable, like a goals sheet or a meal planner. While I love to explore big goals, I find that — at least lately — my focus tends to be on the near future. There’s something clarifying about taking things day by day, focusing on a week at a time. With that in mind, I’ve spent the past few days working on creating a poppies-themed printable planner page.
You can choose to download the color version (as shown on the left) or the black-and-white version, which you can color yourself.
First, I’d recommend printing out one copy of the planner, just to see how you like using it. Wait until this weekend (or Monday, even), and begin to fill it out.
How you populate your weekly planner is completely up to you and what feels right! For me, there’s no greater joy than checked boxes, so I gravitate toward a format that features check boxes and small, efficient handwriting.
If that formatting doesn’t excite you, I invite you to play! You might customize your page with creative block lettering; and maybe instead of check boxes, you keep a colored pencil or a highlighter nearby to mark finished tasks.
No matter how you choose to organize your tasks and goals within the planner, I hope it helps you to breathe a little easier. I’ll officially start using mine next week, and I’m excited for that feeling of mental decluttering. It can be amazing how tasks and to-dos lose the power to make you feel overwhelmed once you write them down!
The “If I Have Extra Time” section of this planner is an excellent place to record non-essential aspirations.

Many creatives deal with the problem of “so much to do, so little time”. It’s not exactly that the vital tasks add up; it’s the things that we want to try and the projects we’d like to complete! With that in mind, there’s a little something for everyone on this site. Here’s a sampling:

Every January, I like to offer something like this weekly planner to you because I want us all to feel happy, productive, and full of potential! I know that, for me, when I write things down, I get a giddy, can-do feeling that helps squelch overwhelm.
You can opt to use the black and white version of the planner if you’d like to explore a custom color scheme. Feel free to use watercolors, markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils to do that.
This planner’s goal is to help you approach your days with more clarity and less pressure. Try it for a week, notice what feels good, and adjust as you go! There’s no wrong way to use it. Oftentimes, just writing things down is enough to transform your outlook … and the elegant poppy illustrations are a calming bonus.
