Calming Brush Pen Calligraphy Drills

These drills were designed to help you practice your brush pen calligraphy skills … and maintain a feeling of calm throughout the holidaze (and through the year in general). Here are some things to note:

• You can use a brush pen to write on any printer paper, but some papers will wear down your brush pens more than others, depending on what kind of “tooth” they have. I recommend using 32# HP Premium Laserjet paper, which is nice and smooth.
• This drills sheet works best with larger brush pens like the Tombow Dual Point or Pigma MB. For small brush pens like the Tombow Fudenosuke, it’s best to practice with the pointed pen version of this worksheet.
• For best results, keep a piece of padding paper underneath this drills sheet as you write on it
