There are no time or demonstration constraints, so I was able to include absolutely everything that you need to know! On film, I am able to communicate concepts from different shooting angles, and you can pause and re-watch videos as needed. If you don’t quite understand how to do something, there’s a “Discussion” portion under each lesson where you can ask questions. Lessons include a short quiz and homework assignments. This was such a great starter kit for learning pointed pen calligraphy! It was beautifully organized and I felt like each item that was included was done with purpose. I’ve had a lot of fun using this kit (and have even kept the box because it’s so beautiful)! Thanks for all you do Lindsey

I am a 100% newbie to calligraphy, and this course has been amazing! It’s so easy to follow and I feel so much more confident with this artform than I thought I would. I would definitely recommend this course, and can’t wait to take my next one through TPK!

I have always wanted to learn calligraphy, but never had the right supplies and often became frustrated quickly in the process. After coming back to look at this kit multiple times, I finally decided to make the purchase and I could not have been more pleased. The products in this kit are extremely high quality, the packaging is beautiful, and the lesson book is immensely helpful in getting someone started with the art of calligraphy. Within a week of getting the kit, I was sending letters to family and friends to practice and show off my skills.
Thanks Lindsey for helping me get through the fall/ winter of 2020-2021. I’ve been dreading quarantine during these coming months, but with calligraphy and watercolor, I’m more than happy to stay at home and be creative now!

Absolutely wonderful course that rekindled my love of calligraphy from 20 years ago! Lyndsey is a patient and talented teacher, and she gently instills confidence that anyone, including you, can do this. This is a great introduction to calligraphy, with lots of practice and tips. I highly recommend this course and Lindsey’s intermediate calligraphy course, too!
