The Postman’s Knock Intermediate Calligraphy Course is very well designed and comprehensive and includes both video lessons and a detailed printable workbook. Before going through the course, I was rather apprehensive about flourishing. After completing the worksheets included with the program, I was much more eager to give flourishing a try in my own calligraphy projects and personal letters. I enjoyed working through the course at my own pace, often filling out one page per day (or per week, if life got busy), and enjoyed the encouraging comments I was given when showing off my progress to others in my community. After completing the assignments at the end of the program, there’s a section to submit photos of the work. Lindsey was so kind to go through my work personally, giving both praise and suggestions for improvement. I highly recommend anyone interested in taking the next step with their calligraphy, especially those doing pointed pen calligraphy, to apply themselves to the lessons in TPK’s Intermediate Course.

Lindsey is an outstanding teacher. Her courses are an incredible value for what you get. I completed the beginning calligraphy course over Thanksgiving week in 2023 and sent out 25 calligraphed holiday greeting cards before Christmas! The way she teachers allows for quick learning and real-world application right away.
Next, I purchased this intermediate course and found it to be something I will be coming back to again and again. Once I had the basics down, I was so happy to have an intermediate course to dig deep into inks, papers, nibs, and FLOURISHING! I still need to finish the last module, but I am so happy with both courses.

I recently started this course after completing the beginner calligraphy course and I have not been disappointed! I loved the beginner course and felt it really gave me a good solid foundation to continue my studies in calligraphy and what better way to continue than with this course! Lindsey is a wonderful teacher, so encouraging and everything is explained so well. The in depth discussions about nibs, inks and everything else was most illuminating! Lindsey’s easy gentle manner of teaching is so very comfortable and really makes you believe you can do this and you can! For anyone who is wavering I most definitely recommend this course.

When I first knew I wanted learn calligraphy I was overwhelmed by all the wonderful people out there sharing information and teaching their skills. Not to be overwhelmed I decided to narrow down the choices I would follow and utilize. Lindsey became my no fail – go to person. It seemed the more I followed her the more I learned so it was a no brainer when I started to take some of her online courses. Needless to say I haven’t been disappointed. From watercolors to multiple styles of calligraphy there hasn’t been a time I haven’t been excited to try something new with her step by step guidance. Taking the intermediate calligraphy course was a special treat. The way that every lesson is carefully curated makes the entire course seem like a lovely journey. I am especially fond of the way Lindsey presents the different information and enjoy the side details and stories which help make the information relatable. Also, the worksheets that pair with the courses are incredible and totally support all of the lessons making them practical and fun. Not only does she offer the expertise of the art, but at the same time does it in a relaxing and informal style, which for me is important. The advice and suggestions (backed by her personal experience) are a bonus that I believe makes her courses unique from others out there.
I have taken several courses which has helped me create beautiful items to share as gifts and use my lettering to achieve several goals. I look forward to enjoying many more.
