Inspired by Copperplate, Janet Style calligraphy is perfect for anyone who favors writing with an elegant, vintage quality. This worksheet set will teach you how to create calligraphy that will enhance any project! To begin, you’ll need a standard calligraphy dip pen, a Nikko G nib (for beginners) or Brause EF66 nib (for intermediate), sumi or India ink, and a printer and paper. I highly recommend printing TPK calligraphy worksheets out on 32# laserjet paper (you can use laserjet paper in any printer). It will be easiest to fill out this worksheet if you have taken the Beginner’s Modern Calligraphy Online Course, though many learners have worked through the worksheet without it.
The Janet Style calligraphy worksheet set underwent a complete redesign in August 2017, and it features the following:

I was obedient and started with the Amy-style, which really was perfect for a beginner. The thing that really got me is how I could DO it. I kept putting off my goal to do calligraphy, and when I finally sat down to do it, I was delighted with how approachable you made it. I think I had built it up in my head as this great unattainable artistic endeavor, but it’s been amazing to add this to my envelope art and other projects.
Janet-style was a way to amp up my calligraphy, but I wanted something to walk me through it still being a beginner (but a confident beginner now…). Thanks for these intensive worksheets – I keep the stroke page handy for the first month or so and then I’m good to go on my own. My kids have even asked me to print alphabets for them to practice – what a great way for them to learn that everything doesn’t need to be typed. 🙂

As I’ve said before your worksheets are like little Christmas gifts all year round. My practice has been more consistent since I’ve found your Instagram page and signed up for newsletter.
Thank you for all your tips and pictures,

Thank you Linsey ! I’m doing better in my practicing and these tips help too. I like your styles a lot and they are helping me learn the Spencerian also . I am having problems flourishing properly still. It will come your blog and classes really help with all the details I keep watching and practicing and it shows, I just haven’t posted much because I still have a way to go. Thank you so much for mentoring !!

An incredible worksheet, and I love that I can print off the pages as many times as I want, for practising 😀
But the worksheet itself is a work of art, with the illustrated supply list, and the headers being in the Janet style too – that gives plenty of inspiration and also an insight into how to get the letters to flow in different words 🙂

Another Amazing set of worksheets! This was the first set I purchased after Kaitlin and I love it! The more formal look.is perfect for certain projects and really adds elegance. It’s so fun & rewarding to see this beautiful calligraphy come to life! I almost have to pinch myself sometimes when I think that I’m producing something I’ve always been awestruck by, but also intimidated and uncertain in how to get started. All props go to Lindsey for providing easy to follow, step-by-step instructions and lifting the fog! Thank You!

I’ve purchased all of the learn for a latte work sheets since I’ve started learning calligraphy a few months ago. And I have to say I absolutely love them all! These have been instrumental in my journey to learning this art. They are so easy to follow along with and have simple and clear instructions to get the hang of it pretty quickly. My friend is getting married next fall and she has asked me to do the place cards for all the guests. I have Lindsey to thank for providing these sets that have helped me start mastering calligraphy!

How many times can I call this “awesome” before I start to become repetitive? First off, the fact that this is a download means that I can print off copy after copy of just the practice pages, so when I need a refresher course I can fill up as many pages as I want. I also get to choose what kind of paper I use to practice, so I am happily using up old, bright neon cardstock that holds up beautifully to ink and nibs. I adore that different forms of punctuation are included in the worksheets, because I am a calligraphy nerd and like to have my question marks fit in with the curls of a certain script. I have the page that depicts the various forms of letters hung next to my desk for quick reference as well. Thank you so much Lindsey!

Another lovely worksheet from Lindsey! I love this one as a more formal alternative to the Kaitlin style, which is my go-to. Perfect for a wedding, thank yous and holiday cards. The illustrations and walnut ink calligraphy are an especially lovely and unexpected touch that give it an old world feel. A must-have for budding calligraphers!
