Description

This self-paced Beginner’s Modern Calligraphy Online Course was recently re-done with the help of TPK Premium members, who took it lesson by lesson, gave me feedback as we went, and participated to make class discussions helpful for everyone. For that reason, this current iteration of the course is the very best yet. There are no time or demonstration constraints, so I am able to include absolutely everything that you need to know (and more)! On film, I am able to communicate concepts from different shooting angles, and you can pause and re-watch videos as needed. If you don’t quite understand how to do something, you can ask something in the comments section under each lesson (or, better yet, ask in the TPK Premium Discord). Lessons include a short quiz and, often, homework assignments. Here’s the course layout:

There are all these stellar reviews, I didn’t feel I needed to add another, but looking through my daily sketch book this morning I read this: Jan. 11, Started TPK Beginner’s Calligraphy Course. Amazing how much I learned from the get-go! So pleasing and calming to practice, Finally, after all these years of thinking I could never learn calligraphy, I am and I’m having a blast! I laugh every time she reminds us “don’t slouch or hunch over!”
