Description

You can download a free sample of seven pages from this worksheet set by clicking here.

Kaitlin Style calligraphy has a casual elegance to it because of its artistic, bohemian whimsy. The best part? No need to draw out pencil guidelines! You can free-hand the Kaitlin for use on any envelope or project without worrying about making guides. To begin, you’ll need a straight dip pen or an oblique dip pen (whichever you prefer), a Nikko G nib (for beginners) or a Brause EF66 nib (for intermediate), sumi or India ink, and a printer and paper. I highly recommend printing TPK calligraphy worksheets out on 32# laserjet paper (you can use laserjet paper in any printer). It will be easiest to fill out this worksheet if you have taken the Beginner’s Modern Calligraphy Online Course, though many learners have worked through the worksheet without doing so.

If you’ve tried the free exemplar to see if you like calligraphy and are wondering if the paid version is worth it then I can not recommend it enough to you. It is brilliant. There is so much material and detail included and it has been a tremendous help to me. Being able to trace each letter several times in the core worksheets to get the feel of it each time before trying a few on my own has made a big difference and being able to print out a whole page of letters that I’m struggling with was also really helpful along with the progression into words. There is also a blank lined up page included which has been really fun for writing my own things, and teaching on faux calligraphy for the style to get an idea for the shapes of the letters [and also if you don’t have a dip pen yet]. There is still so much that I’m getting out of these worksheets even many months later. The free exemplars were helpful for trying out the different styles to work out which one I wanted to start with and to check that I did enjoy calligraphy as a complete novice, but at this point I’m just collecting them all the styles and working through them, although Kaitlin remains my favourite. The paid resources are such good quality I am so grateful to TPK which has has made this such an enjoyable journey starting as a complete beginner.

I really love these worksheets. They are my go to ones when I am looking for something to use. Lindsey breaks it down into easy to learn sections. This is written with a beginner in mind but anyone can gain experience by using these worksheets. I print off worksheets and use them to practice quite frequently. Thank you Lindsey!!

This is a fantastic resource to learn a modern, beautiful calligraphy style. It guides you step by step to get familiar with the letterforms, then to make words, sentences and some finishing touches. I absolutely recommend it.

Gah I can’t say enough about Lindsey’s teaching methods! I have quite a few of her worksheets and I love them all, but her Kaitlyn Style holds a special place in my heart. I just adore everything about this style and this worksheet set is amazing. Guys I’ve downloaded SO MANY practice worksheet sets both free and paid and from all the popular online calligraphers as well as random ones I found on Etsy. I’ve paid way too much for basic sheets that I got nothing out of. This is not one of those! TPK is the best, period. Kaitlyn is a great style to have in your arsenal and if you’re even thinking about ordering this DO IT! If I can learn anyone can!

I was immediately drawn to this style when I saw it on TPK blog! I LOVE it! While I have a LOOOOOOONG way to go toward perfecting it, I have incorporated some of the easier letters into what I am currently “giving away” to people (not selling yet!). My next purchase…. Amy! Thank you for doing this. I know how hard a blog can be to maintain. I appreciate your passion for this, but most especially, your willingness to share!
